Admired by the public but reviled by the adversaries of the first Emperor Augustus, Livia is often portrayed as both attractive and faithful, while also displaying a penchant for manipulation and intrigue.
This piece is completely handmade with lost wax casting method. It’s the process where Hespérides take a hand-carved wax model and turn it into a finished piece in precious metal.
